Pink hues of coolness
Kruisem, Belgium
At home
This spectacular garden in Kruisem offers the ultimate summer enjoyment. The various terraces, with their modest proportions, are no distant dream for people living in the city. Elements with wooden slats provide privacy, while maintaining a sense of openness. Compact and versatile Tools for Togetherness prove here that limited space can be fully utilized.
Making optimal use of outdoor space
In some climates, a pool is indispensable for cooling off in the summer; in others, it’s a welcome addition to the summer atmosphere, paired with a carafe of Rosewater on the rocks and the obligatory slices of watermelon.
On the terrace by the pool, you’ll find two Sol+Luna loungers and sofas. Recline on the sunbeds to soak up your daily dose of vitamin D, supported by a bolster cushion for neck comfort. In the evening, the two sun worshippers can settle into the same furniture with four additional friends. It transforms into an outdoor lounge for a party of six — a real upgrade without taking up extra space in your garden.
Compact Togetherness
On the smaller terrace further down, the Virus three-seater fits perfectly. It’s a no-frills picnic table with easy access and a friendly appearance. The rounded legs and circular seats with cushions entice everyone to sit down for a refreshing slice of watermelon. This compact piece of furniture is often used in public spaces and is therefore very robust. It’s also available as a 4- or 5-seater for slightly larger terraces!
