How we celebrated in Milan?
The fairs are back! And man, it felt good to get this show on the road again at Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy.
For the occasion, we met everybody in our garden for a true Belgian backyard party.

Granny’s lemonade
There’s no such thing as a backyard party without homemade lemonade. Follow our family recipe for the most refreshing brew!
Ingredients
- A piece of ginger
- The zest of one lemon
- 6 spoons of sugar
- 3 fresh mint sprigstwigs
- 3 lemons
- Cold water
- Ice
Recipe
- Peel and grate the fresh ginger.
- Finely chop the leaves of the mint.
- Crush the zest, the ginger, the mint and sugar in a mortar.
- Squeeze the lemons.
- Add the lemon juice, the crushed mixture and the water in a jar.
- Stir everything and cool in the fridge.
- Serve with ice, a slice of lime and some mint leaves.
The functionality of AMAi took a lot of attention in our sunny backyard. We heard a lot of ‘ooooh’ and ‘aaaah’!
