Friday the 13th 2019, stress levels peaked @ the Extremis headquarters. A secret committee of Extremis co-workers organized a surprise party for Dirk & Hilde, the founders of Extremis. They didn’t suspect anything, but we can assure you that our excitement went through the roof while secretly wrapping up the last preparations for the party. It was only when we blindfolded Dirk & Hilde that they started to realize that the ‘very important meeting’ in their calendar was just a trick…

A Gargantuan Party

Although the idea for this party started with the 25th birthday of Gargantua, we didn’t want to end up with a traditional birthday party. The philosophy behind Extremis and its products has always been to bring people together, to build ‘tools for togetherness’.

Therefore a huge Gargantuan party was organized, a picnic in the shadow of the castle of domain ‘De Lovie’, near the Extremis HQ. “Bringing all Extremis co-workers together in this wonderful setting was the most meaningful surprise we could give to our founders.”

At 12am we stopped working and met up at the domain 'De Lovie', ready to receive our guests of honour Dirk & Hilde. The afternoon was filled with good food, drinks and lots of fun.

In the evening, the family of our co-workers joined us. A foodtruck and a cheerful music band got the party started. "Heart-warming memories were made."
