A new oasis of calm in the city center of Brussels. Increasingly, cities are short of places to escape the hectic and impersonal, metropolitan pace. Sharing time with friends to eat, talk and gather are rare moments for a fresh breath of air.

For that reason MINI LIVING created the installation “Breathe”: this island employs natural, affordable and easy-to-use materials, like a new breed of honeysuckle, and olivine stones in water and soil to purify the surrounding air. Extremis picnic tables and shades invite passers-by to sit and enjoy the oasis of calm in the middle of the city.
