Hopper shade

Hopper shade rethinks the traditional parasol from the ground up. Its canopy opens and folds away with a unique self-rolling mechanism, while the slanted stainless-steel poles mirror the lines of the hop fields that inspired Hopper. The result is generous shade in a form that feels completely integrated with the table below.

A sunshade usually feels like something added afterwards. Hopper shade does the opposite. Its shape continues the architecture of the table below, creating one coherent composition. Open it when the sun comes out, roll it away again in seconds, and keep the space around the table completely free.
