Picnic and Study Spaces

It's not just a park; it's a living ecosystem where the built and natural environments merge to create outdoor study spaces, green resting areas, and spots for informal social gatherings. It features Hopper tables crafted from Iroko wood with Earth-colored, structured powder-coated aluminum legs, as well as several Picnik tables in the same rich brown hue. Perfect to host your next big idea or an impromptu lunch with colleagues or friends.

Sustainability and Climate Adaptation

Sustainability is at the core of SUND Nature Park’s design. The park is equipped to handle extreme weather events, including the so-called 100-year cloudbursts, without flooding the surrounding area. Rainwater from the park, building, and green roofs is collected, naturally cleansed, and recycled for irrigation and greywater use within the Maersk Tower. This sustainable approach is complemented by the park's integration into Copenhagen's cycling culture, featuring an underground bicycle parking facility with space for a thousand bikes.

SUND Nature Park is not only a green refuge in the bustling city of Copenhagen but also a symbol of how thoughtful design can enhance both the environment and the quality of life for those who use it.
