Surprising townhouse
Tools for togetherness

Take a look inside this trendy townhouse in the center of Ghent belonging to radio host Sam De Bruyn and his husband Wannes. Together with interior architecture firm Tjip, they redesigned the entire building. The ground floor is surprising, to say the least - a fresh, white space with a bright yellow staircase and the Hopper picnic table in the middle. The solid table, which was actually designed for outdoor use, serves here as a conference and dining table.

“Our ground floor is the place where we welcome people, have meetings and entertain our friends. If you ask me to picture the ideal office, well, this is it. A large table, music, and coffee. The perfect coworking space, but at home,” says Sam De Bruyn.

A large table, music and coffee. To me, that's the perfect co-working space.
