Each material has unique properties, and the warranty covers issues specific to each. Steel should not rust, coatings should not peel, and wood should not rot. We have outlined the warranty coverage for all materials in our Warranty Chart for your convenience. Based on our 30 years of expertise with wood, fabrics and metals, we now offer 5 to 15 years warranty.

Galvanized steel
Enjoy an impressive 15-year warranty on all galvanized steel parts. We proudly use this exceptional Cradle to Cradlecertified technique to protect steel from rusting, incorporating it into nearly all our designs.

Coated metals, stainless steel, wood and Sunbrella
We now offer a comprehensive 5-year warranty on all powder coated metal parts, stainless steel components, wooden parts, and Sunbrella fabrics. This extension ensures that all key materials of our products are covered.
Extremis NV, the manufacturer of outdoor furniture, extends to the first purchaser of the furniture a limited warranty from the date of purchase, that the Product is free from defects in material.
What is the warranty period?
Extremis NV offers a warranty for its products against manufacturing defects, with specific periods ranging from 2 to 15 years, depending on the material.

Who is covered under the warranty period?
The warranty covers the original purchaser of an Extremis product and is not transferable.
What does the warranty cover?
Extremis furniture is warranted to be free of structural and functional defects in material.
Extremis guarantees product conformity to technical specifications and requires customers to inspect and report any visible defects within five working days of delivery. Failure to do so results in loss of the right to claim non-conformity.
The warranty is valid only if proper maintenance and cleaning are performed as per Extremis instructions www.extremis.com/maintenance.
What is not covered under the warranty?
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, natural fading, visual appearance changes in wood due to aging, or damage from misuse, neglect, or abnormal conditions. Modifications or repairs by unauthorized personnel also void the warranty.
Extremis sunshades have been extensively tested, and the product factsheets shows the wind speed resistance of each parasol. The warranty applies only to properly secured products and covers manufacturer defects, not damage from impact, severe weather, or extreme natural events. Extremis recommends closing shades when not in use.
Extremis liability is limited to cases of fraud, intentional or grave error, and covers only direct damage. The maximum liability is capped at the invoice value of the customer's order.
What protection do I receive from this warranty?
In case of a non-conform delivery or defect, if the warranty conditions are met, Extremis may choose to:
- Repair the product on-site
- Replace defective parts or the entire product
- Partially or fully credit the invoice
Extremis decides the remedy, and customers cannot demand a specific solution or claim compensation/termination.
Returns are only allowed if on-site repair is impossible or too time-consuming, with prior written approval.
If no defect is found, the product is returned at the customer’s expense. After 60 days of no response, Extremis may take possession of unclaimed products.
The customer covers costs like transport, accommodation, and labor. The warranty only covers new parts, and only a professional may perform repairs — failure to comply voids the warranty.
Latent (hidden) defects are covered under the warranty if they render normal use impossible and were hidden prior to use. Customers must report latent defects within five working days of discovery, supported by photographic evidence.
How do I request a warranty replacement?
To obtain warranty replacement, contact the dealer from which you purchased your Extremis furniture. Please provide detailed information, including photographs and proof of purchase, when reporting complaints to the dealer. Returns require prior written authorization from Extremis, and products must be returned in their original packaging.
If Extremis determines that the furniture has a defect in either material or workmanship, and the furniture is within the warranty period, replacement or reimbursement will be provided at the selling dealer.
