Umbrella fabrics
All our umbrella fabrics are highly resistant to UV radiation and fading. Although - as with all materials left outdoors - slight discoloration is unavoidable over time. To make sure that the shade fabric lasts for many years, it’s important to protect it with the supplied cover when not in use.
How to clean high-tech polyester
When dirty (+/- 30 min)
Clean the fabric of the parasol and the cover by rinsing it with water and hand soap or Extremis multi cleaner if necessary.
Instructions
Follow the instructions below
- For more persistent stains, first use a brush to remove encrusted dirt.
- Spray Extremis multi cleaner.
- Let work for a few minutes.
- Rub the stains with a soft brush.
Be careful around the stitches! - Rinse with water.
Still dirty? Machine washing might help. Simply allow to dry.

High-tech polyester
Polyester is the most popular synthetic fiber in the world. Special finishing methods make the fabrics weatherproof, water repellent, dirt repellent, lightfast, etc. High-tech polyester is used for various “sun protection” purposes - from seat cushions to patio furniture to awning fabrics. High resistance to water and UV guarantees an excellent long-term appearance.
How to clean PU-coated polyester
Rarely (+/- 2h)
The parasol fabric and cover can be machine washed at 60°. Do not iron.
Instructions
Follow the instructions below
- Remove the parasol fabric from the structure.
- Machine wash on a delicate cycle with normal amounts of mild laundry detergent.
- Hang it on the frame to dry.
- Mount the parasol fabric back onto structure or store in the cover (when completely dry).

PU-coated polyester
Our PU-coated polyester fabric is a stretchable fabric that is suitable for outdoor use. The fabric is water-repellent, lightweight, and flexible. It’s mainly used for camping tents, light-duty covers, clothing, and bags. The stretch quality of the fabric ensures that it never wrinkles.

How to clean Acrylic fabric
Regular cleaning
Every 3 months
Rinse all dirt with tap water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Spilled liquids: immediate action required
Immediately after use (+/- 5 min)
It is best to treat spilt liquids immediately by placing a sheet of absorbent kitchen paper on them. The water-resistant coating on the Sunbrella prevents droplets from penetrating the fabric.
Bird poop: immediate action required
Immediately (+/- 5 min)
Brush off loose dirt. Then use a cleaning solution of water and mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush. Allow the cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed. Air dry.
Acrylic fabric
This solution-dyed acrylic fabric is an extensively researched fabric that has been tested and proven to be very hard-wearing. A water-resistant coating prevents water from penetrating the fabric making it an all-weatherproof and long-lasting material.
